Bad day at the office

I will become more busy the next few days as new campaigns get launched and other outstanding jobs still waiting to finish. Looks like there will never be a chance to feel excited about the coming weekend trip to Beijing. Worse, one of our servers got hacked today...

On Pork Barrel

I am wondering if there is any country in the world that grants money to the lawmakers to support their projects. In my country these are the senators and congressmen who get these perks once elected. I wish they leave the money to the implementors of the law: the executive department. These are the congressmen who promise heaven, the moon and stars to their constituents. They need the money to realize their promises. And this is one root of corruption. Ang mga walang hiya.

Olympic Woes

We could have won a medal in taekwondo and archery. But it was just in the mind of the overly optimistic Celso Dayrit. Obviously athletes do their best but the methods are just out of the way. Not at par with the best in the world. Let us develop sports such as athletics, get taller boxers, more taekwondo players, recruit more table tennisters, in badminton, football and any other sports not requiring height advantage. Recall the words of a Chinese winner of the 110m hurdles: yellow-skinned people can also win.

my first blog

Wow, this is my first blog message posted over the Internet. As I got the domain www.cagape.com just weeks ago, I am in a hurry to put something apart from my inactive batch97 homepage.

Hopefully, a lot new features would get added into here soon. That remains to be seen as workload in the office becomes heavy pretty soon.
